The best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković in spite of a great run and winning 8th place in the second WTCC race in Argentina is without points waiting for his team’s appeal to be processed which may take up to 3 months.

Borković in Argentina faces almost the same situation as in Hungary when he lost pole position in the second race. This time Dušan was the fastest Chevrolet driver and that is why stewards decided to additionally check the car.

A large number of racing fans gathered today in Shopping center Stadion to meet the only Serbian representative in World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and to try out fast cars driving. Borković and his team brought simulator so everybody could drive one of WTCC circuits. The fastest among them were Vladimir Bogdanović, Nikola Jovanović and Aleksandar Đurić and they won a prize. The youngest visitors were thrilled to see Dušan’s car and helmet.

The best Serbian race car driver finished a one day test with his Campos racing team in Spain preparing for the remaining 4 racing weekends in Asia but also for the next season.

Borković tested in his team mate Hugo Valente’s car since his Chevrolet is in the conteiner in Asia waiting for the appeal decision from the penalty that occurred in Argentina, to be considered at the end of September.

Our best race car driver Dušan Borković was chosen to be a member of sports council in Pancevo alongside great sportsmen: Predrag Stojadinov, Nađa Higl-Boharević, Milenko Topić and Žikica Milosavljević.

On a suggestion of Pancevo city council member assigned for sports Aleksandar Farkaš, city council decided to create a professional advisory body to help improve sports in Pancevo.

The best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković attended a petrol station Pancevo 2 and fueled new premium euro diesel Ultra D to the costumers. Early in the morning our champion surprised all of his fellow citizens at the petrol station. Together with his team he informed the drivers about new NIS Petrol fuel advantages but also about the details concerning Asia rounds ahead in October.
