2  NEW POINTS FOR BORKOVIC IN THE 4th TCR INTERNATIONAL WEEKEND Featured

The best Serbian race car driver was a victim of the incident in the race 2 that enabled him to finish the race in Monza circuit in Italy.

The best Serbian race car driver Dusan DUKE Borkovic scored 2 new points in the overall standings after the 4th TCR International series weekend in Monza.

Borkovic hoped for the new points in the second race after finishing 9th in  race 1.

He started race 2 from the 15th position due to problems with electronics in qualifying.

Borković had a great start in the second race and had overtaken 6 drivers up to the first corner. In the exit of the corner Tassi spun in front of Dusan's car, and the crash was inevitable.

After only a few meters it was clear that the car was too damaged to continue and Borkovic couldn't finish the race. Borković's Alfa had to park.

"I am angry and disappointed. I started better  than in race 1 and I tried to pass my teammate Kajaia who was in 7th. Unfortunately after his incident with Tassi I hit Attila's car full speed and broke the car and radiator. I've changed my tactics this season and started to race more respectfully but I will have to rethink that decision. There is a lot of hot headed drivers in this championship and some of them should expect at least the same treatment from me" - Borkovic said upset after the race.

Borković is in sixth place in overall standings with 53 points. Next TCR International series weekend is on Salzburgring on 10th and 11th of June.
