The event “Open Your Eyes”, gathered in Belgrade children from shelters, children from schools and interested citizens and public figures who understand the importance of educating young people. Shelter for children is a social care institution under the jurisdiction of the City of Belgrade with a tradition of 54 years. It

deals with the care of children and adolescents aged 7 to 18 years. These are children without parental care, children victims of abuse and neglect, children with behavior disorders, children in need, victims of child trafficking, and many other children in need of an urgent help and protection.

While spending time with the kids Borkovic stressed the importance of such actions and willingness to support young people and being a good role model to them. Without hiding his emotions, Borkovic once more proved that love is the best starting point for addressing sensitive issues affecting children from the shelter.
