The best European race car driver Dusan Borkovic at the reception with the minister Alisa Maric

Minister of Youth and Sports Alisa Maric phd. welcomed race car driver Dusan Borkovic in her office.The first lady of Serbian sport discussed with the European Hill Climb champion plans for the future and the ways to improve and popularize this sport in Serbia.

 

- Your success is even greater because you manage to overcome all the problems on your way primarily financial ones, with your hard work. The Ministry of Youth and Sports is here to help as much as we are able to. We will continue to do so and I believe you will repay us in the best possible way – with new trophies - the minister said.

The youngest Diamond helmet winner in the history of Serbian car racing informed minister Marić of his victory in the first race on the racetrack in Salzburg, Austria, in the European Touring Car Cup.

- We have great plans for the future. I would love to participate in world championships such as WRC and WTCC and successfully represent our country in them also – Borkovic said.

Minister Maric congratulated Borkovic on his great results and the way he represents and promotes Serbian sport across the Europe.

Considering the year 2013 is proposed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to be the year of tolerance and fair play in sports, minister explained to her guest “Fair play is the victory” program and open classes about tolerance held by the sport legends.
