FIRST SERBIAN TO WIN SERBIA RALLY TITLE IN 27 YEARS
The best Serbian race car driver, Dusan Borkovic and his co-driver Igor Markovic won the most prestigious national championship 52nd Serbia Rally and brought back the title to Serbia after 27 years. Serbia Rally was counted for FIA European Rally Trophy, FIA ERT Balkan Rally Trophy, national championships of Serbia, Bulgaria and Bosnia.
DUSAN BORKOVIC WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 52ND SERBIA RALLY
Borkovic will be driving in his home country after 9 years and is going back to rally. The best Serbian race car driver Dusan Borkovic will be competing in THE 52nd Serbia Rally, most valued motorsport competition in the Balkans. It will take place in Vrnjacka Banja on the 27-29th of September. Stages for this race will be: Mrka Stena, Kriva reka, Župa, Boturic, Goc, Stanisici i Beranovac.
DUSAN BORKOVIC LEAVES TCR EUROPE
Dusan Borkovic, the best Serbian race car driver, decided to leave TCR Europe. Two time European champion and a winner of many European and world podiums will stop competing in TCR Europe because of many harmful decisions that were made against him and his team, that escalated in Austria at RedBull Ring this past weekend. He will be replacing remaining three TCR Europe racing weekends with new challenges which will be revealed soon.
BORKOVIC COLLECTS 21 POINTS FOR RACE 1 AND GETS HIT IN RACE 2 AT REDBULLRING
AFTER LEADING RACE TWO IN SPA FRANCORCHAMPS, BORKOVIC GOT HIT FROM BEHIND AND SPUN OFF THE TRACK
The best Serbian race car driver Dusan Borkovic added 7 points from race one of TCR Europe to his championship score this weekend at Spa Francorchamps. Driver of Target Competition Team in his Hyundai i30N TCR scored 10th position in Saturday’s qualifying giving him a pole position for race two of TCR Europe in Spa Francorchamps. Borkovic had a perfect start, fought off the pressure of a much lighter and faster cars behind him. When Borkovic started to secure his first place as he started to make a gap, the safety car was deployed. In the first lap after the safety car Briche overtook Dusan and J. Clairet on the straight, then J. Clairet hit Dusan from behind and spun him off the track.
