“I am thrilled with this triumph. I am back to my favorite discipline after 10 years. I was a little concerned before the start because I didn’t know the car that well. I was not sure how long it will take me to get in the rhythm but after the first kilometer i saw that I was in control of the car and could dictate the pace of the rally. I am grateful to my fans and sponsors for the support and to my NIS Petrol Racing team, Eurosol Racing Team, Skoda Serbia and the city of Vrnjacka Banja for their hospitality” - Borkovic said.

“I am especially glad and proud that it was me to bring back the title to Serbia. It was my desire from the start but I was not sure that I would manage to do it and therefore I am even more happy today” - Borkovic added.
