BORKOVIC WINS SERBIA RALLY FOR THE THIRD TIME, THE FIRST SERBIAN EVER TO DO IT
The best Serbian racecar driver Dusan Borkovic and his co-driver Igor Markovic won the 55th Serbia Rally and thus entered the history of motorsport as the only Serbians who won three times this most prestigious regional competition. In his Skoda Fabia R5 Evo, Borkovic set the best time on 10 out of the 12 special stages and thus ensured a convincing victory in the general standings. Also, Borkovic holds the records of all stages of the Serbia Rally from previous years competeting and at the 55th Serbia Rally he pushed his limits and broke personal records at 6 special stages.
BORKOVIC DOMINATED, BROKE THE RACE TRACK RECORDS AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THE 55TH SERBIA RALLY
The best Serbian driver Dusan Borkovic dominated on the first day of competition at the 55th Serbia Rally. After six special stages, Borkovic is convincingly first in the general standings with 1 minute and 16 seconds ahead of the second-placed Stajkov from Bulgaria and 1 minute and 27 seconds ahead of another Bulgarian crew, Surilov and Zdravkov.

The driver of the NIS Petrol Racing team, Dusan Borkovic, confirmed his participation in the 55th Serbia Rally and expressed his desire to lift the trophy for the third time in the most prestigious serbian competition in the well-tested winning tandem with Igor Markovic. The rally will take place from September 23 to 25 in Vrnjacka Banja, and 46 crews from five countries will have 12 special tests with a total length of 151.04 km, while the length of the itinerary is 536.89 km.
