Dušan Borković in Morocco

Best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković traveled to Morocco today for his debut in World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). Borković is the first Serb to take part in the one of the most prestigious FIA competition and in the highest class TC1.

Borković’s car Chevrolet Cruze #3 is constructed by British RML engineering. His car number is 98 like NIS Petrol Euro BMB fuel with 98 octane.

The best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković tested on Friday on the Marrakech circuit. It was Borković’s debut in WTCC that starts this weekend in Morocco.

Borković was 12th on the testing after which he said he was pleased with the test in his Chevrolet Cruze #98 car. Qualifications are on Saturday and first two races of WTCC are on Sunday.

The best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković was briliant in qualifications for the first race of the WTCC season. Borković was getting better throughout the whole qualifications (Q1, Q2, Q3) on the Moulay El Hassan circuit, but due to the early start in third round of qualifications was unable to get even better result. He will start from the fifth position on both races on Sunday which brought him the first point in the championship.

Borković won sixth place in Morocco

The best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković won sixth place at his debut race in WTCC – World Touring Car Championship in Morocco, finishing his first competition weekend with 9 points.

Although he finished fifth, FIA steward’s decision after the race was to give Borković 10 penalty seconds which brought him down to sixth place.

The best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković after a great success and winning nine points at the start of WTCC season in Marrakech, is focusing on the next challenge.

Borković and his team are working hard as they are facing next races next weekend on Paul Ricard circuit in France. Tough schedule at the beginning of the season got even more complicated with Dušan not being able to finish second race following the team’s decision because of the damage on his Chevrolet Cruze #98.
