Dusan Borkovic is starting his 30th season in the inaugural TCR World Ranking system. The best Serbian race car driver will drive the TCR Europe calendar, where he will collect points for reaching the final race of the TCR World Ranking, which will take place in Macau on November 19. After four years, Borkovic will reunite with the Target Competition team from Italy. He will drive a Hyundai Elantra N TCR under his already recognizable number 62.

After six special stages, Borkovic is convincingly first in the general standings with 1 minute and 16 seconds ahead of the second-placed Stajkov from Bulgaria and 1 minute and 27 seconds ahead of another Bulgarian crew, Surilov and Zdravkov.
The driver of the NIS Petrol Racing team, Dusan Borkovic, confirmed his participation in the 55th Serbia Rally and expressed his desire to lift the trophy for the third time in the most prestigious serbian competition in the well-tested winning tandem with Igor Markovic. The rally will take place from September 23 to 25 in Vrnjacka Banja, and 46 crews from five countries will have 12 special tests with a total length of 151.04 km, while the length of the itinerary is 536.89 km.
