BORKOVIĆ MEETS WITH HIS TEAM BEFORE THE START OF A DEBUT TCR INTERNATIONAL SEASON Istaknut

Serbian champion will face new challenges with a teammate Mato Homola who used to be his greatest rival in 2015.

Two time European racing champion Dušan  "Duke" Borković, after a month long preparations in USA, traveled to Hungary to meet his team for the first time in 2016 in B3 racing headquarters in Hungaroring. Serbia's best race car driver was measured for new racing gear but also seat adjustments and car balance.

Borković is continuing with his championship team, but there are a lot of news and upgrades within B3 racing. Team invested a lot in TCR int. project and will have two more drivers along with Duke. One of them is Mato Homola one of Dusan’s main rivals last year in ETCC.

"It is funny how Mato and I were “angry rivals” not long ago and now we are teammates. Although we will still be rivals on the track I am looking forward to us working together and improving” – Borković said after the meeting.

Dušan spent most of the time with team manager and engineer David Bari talking about all the technical things that are important for a successful start of his first TCR Int. season. Being the highest professional race car driver Borković always has problems with seat position but he is sure that B3 racing will solve that issue just like they did last year.

"I am excited before the start of the season. I will have two teammates for the first time and I am sure I will need to adjust. I am focused on myself and will do my best to improve each race in TCR. The first race is in Bahrein on 3rd of April that we have along with Formula 1, and I am sure it is going to be a great start of the season. A lot of preparations are ahead of me. I hope new Seats will be ready for tests mid March and that I will be able to feel new performances of the car before the first race in Bahrein” –Borković added.

Dušan also met with his great friend Hungarian WTCC superstar Norbert Michelisz while in Budapest.
