NO POINTS FOR BORKOVIC IN THE QUALIFYING SESSION IN ESTORIL BECAUSE OF THE CRASH

The best Serbian race car driver Dušan Borković ran out of the track in the first qualifying session due to the unexpected oversteer. He lost control of the car and hit the wall. He was not able to continue the session because engine temperature was too high and water started leaking. Dusan is slightly bruised but he is ok. If B3 racing team and Seat sport can repair the damage on Dusan's Seat, Dusan will start both races from the last position.

 

Serbian champion posted great times in both free practices, was first in the second, however on the third turn in qualifying on Estoril circuit in Portugal Borkovic lost control of the car and ran out of the track. 

„I am obviously very upset with how qualifying session went. I was fast and we worked really hard for this circuit. I’ve been practicing starts since Bahrain and I hope tomorrow, if I start at all, when i start from the end that I will improve to top 10 and score new points. First of all I hope my team will be able to repair the car till tomorrow considering the damage is huge.” – Borkovic said after the qualifying.   

Because of the good results from Bahrain, Borkovic has 10 extra kilos of success balast, James Nash has 20 and Pepe Oriola 30kg this weekend.
