Dusan Borkovic superior at the first race of FIA European Hill Climb Championship in France

The best Serbian race car driver Dusan Borkovic, member of Nisotec Racing Team scored his first victory in this year’s FIA European Hill Climb Championship. In the first competition held in France (Course Côte de St Jean du Gard Col St Pierre) Borkovic was superior and achieved best times in both races.

Despite the numerous technical difficulties, intense competition and the fact that he had not driven on this track, Borkovic broke the track record twice.

“I am very happy to start this season in Europe with a victory. Competition was very strong. I was quite tired because of a strenuous trip to France and the problems we had in preparing the car for the start of the season, but it all ended great. Members of Nisotec Racing Team are up to the task, the car withstood all the efforts and we deserved to win. I was even faster than the cars that were not

in my class. This win means a lot on the psychological level, because I started the season by winning on the track that I did not know before. I hope that I made Serbian and foreign fans happy. This is just the first step in our march towards the top of the Europe. There are new race and challenges in front of us. Once again I want to thank NIS Company, without whose help I would not have been able to rejoice today. Thank you to the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Serbia, City of Pancevo and MS auto service.

Second race of European Championship is already in two weeks in Austria. As I promised, I will try to win in all 12 races, so we are going for the win in Austria”- fastest Serb Dusan Borkovic said immediately after the race.
