
"I often speak about the topic of road safety and I repeat messages about how important it is to be responsible behind the wheel and to follow the rules, because I believe that by conversing we can raise the awareness among drivers. No one can remain indifferent to the fact that 500 people lose their lives annually in accidents. This is exactly why I ask young people to watch their speed and to never drink and drive. Because once you are behind the wheel you risk not only yours but the lives of others, and if you want to show your speed, show it on the track and be the winner there," said Borkovic.

Serbian race car driver expressed his special gratitude towards the Road Safety Agency for everything they do on this occasion.
"Raising awareness about the topic of road safety is our responsibility and obligation, but I am glad that there is an extremely high level of professionalism and enthusiasm to talk about this topic. I believe that together we can achieve the desired results and increase the road safety," added the Serbian champion.
At the event in Belgrade, young people had the opportunity to try out the simulator using the so-called "drunken glasses" and see for themselves how a driver under the influence of alcohol sees the surroundings. This was a first-hand experience on how much alcohol affects vision, hearing, reduces the ability to make decisions and represents a danger to all traffic participants.
